MP Plugins

MP plugins are processing tools by which MP models can be generated, simulated and analyzed. Due to their specific Java structure, these modules can be automatically recognized and loaded by the MetaPlab plugin manager. MetaPlab users may launch MP plugins by selecting them from a list. The outputs are shown by suitable graphical interfaces.

MetaPlab team kindly encourages developers and students to implement new MP plugins by following the simple instructions reported in the developer guide. With the authors agreement, the submitted plugins will be published in this page, after a validation test, and possibly distributed in the forthcoming releases of MetaPlab, under the GPL license. They should be sent, also equipped by a pdf tutorial, to alberto.castellini at univr.it.

Here is a list of plugins to be downloaded and saved in the MetaPlab directory named PluginExt.

  • NEURALSYNTH.  A tool for generating MP flux regulation functions from data of substance and parameter time evolutions by using neural networks. Four kinds of learning algorithms are implemented: backpropagation, genetic algorithms, particle swarm optimization and a memetic algorithm.
